Rockport — A consumer show Sept. 8 celebrated Maine food, artisans and creativity at Samoset Resort.

Maine Made 2012, a first of its kind for the Midcoast, showcased the variety and high quality of products that are made right here in this state, according to a news release.

The show’s 40 exhibitors included Maine food producers, artisans, jewelry makers, wineries and fine furniture makers, among others.

Plans are in the works to make the show, co-produced by Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce and the Maine Food Producers' Alliance, an annual event.
