Maine Authors at the festival
Rockland — Thirteen authors from Maine Authors Publishing of Rockland will attend the Maine Lobster Festival Wednesday through Sunday, July 30 through Aug. 3, for book signings. The MAP author table will be in the Marine Tent.
Children’s and young adult authors attending are E.H Gerard of “Dear Emily,” Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m.; Jayne Rowe Jones of “Retsbol Rise” Sunday from noon to 3 p.m., Jan Gilley of “Light on Jib Island” Saturday from noon to 3 p.m., Kelly Brooks-Bay of “The Rainbow Pants” Wednesday from 3 to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 3 p.m., Betsey Anderson of “Maggie Goes to Maine” Friday from noon to 3 p.m. and Angela Nickerson of “Hector” Saturday from noon to 3 p.m.
Fiction authors attending are Bob Branco of “Strike from the Deep” Wednesday and Saturday from 3 to 6 p.m., Kevin C. Mills of “Sea of Liberty” Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Herb Short of “The Steel and the Amulet” Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m. and Elizabeth Hall Harmon of “Chimney Pond Tales” Wednesday from noon to 3 p.m.
Poetry and non-fiction authors attending are David C. Weiss of “A Heart on Fire” Thursday from noon to 3 p.m., Deborah Gould of “Father is Here … He’s as Fat as a Pig” Friday from 9 a.m. to noon and Marisue and John Pickering of “Maine Beyond the Usual” Friday from noon to 3 p.m.
