Main Street parking limited during work
Camden — Utility work on Main Street Tuesday, April 21, through Thursday, April 24, will result in a reduction of available parking spaces in downtown but is not expected to cause traffic tie-ups.
Starting around 8 a.m. Tuesday, contractors will be doing sewer and water work at 30 Main St., according to a press release from Camden Public Works. That day, the work will be confined to the sidewalk and three or four parking spaces in front of Boynton and McKay Food Co.
Work will continue Wednesday morning and be initially confined to the sidewalk in front of Boynton McKay but beginning at 5 p.m. will proceed into Main Street, town officials said.
The contractor expects to be able to maintain two lanes of traffic at all times during the project.
