Madison-Carrabec upends Camden Hills on gridironCrosby, Rozsahegyi lead Windjammer offensive attack
Madison — It certainly has been a learning season for the Camden Hills football team, as well for Madison-Carrabec, with both high school squads combining for one win this fall heading into their Friday, Oct. 18 showdown.
While it was the Windjammers who owned that lone victory, both teams had finished Friday's game with one win under their belts as the hosts (1-6) earned a 34-8 decision over Camden Hills (1-6).
Quarterback Nick Rozsahegyi was 5-of-12 pass for the 'Jammers, accounting for 44 yards. He also had seven carries for 24 yards and a touchdown.
Taylor Crosby led the Camden Hills ground attack with 20 carries for 92 yards, while Isaac Young (12 carries for 37 yards) and Connor Graffam (4 carries for 18 yards) also were solid. Crosby also hauled in four catches for 62 yards, while Graffam had two catches for nine yards and Nate Pascal a 10-yard grab.
Leading Camden Hills' defense were Mike Wolff (solo tackle), Brian Jones (3 solos, 2 assisted tackles), Taylor Crosby (3 solos, 2 assists), Rozsayegyi (solo), Pascal (solo, 2 assists, 1.5 quarterback sacks), Graffam (solo, 2 assists, sack), Wyatt Summers (2 solos, half sack), Young (4 solos, 2 assists), Jacob Chamberlain (3 solos, assist, interception), Wyatt Parra (assist), Kaylo Littlejohn (4 solos, 4 assists), Alex Switzer (2 solos, assist), Dawson Lane (2 solos, assist), Alex Winn (solo, assist), Nate Raye (solo), Tyler Wood (assist) and Tristan Harrison-Billiat (assist).

The Windjammers will wrap up the regular season on the road on Friday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. in Belfast.
In the Maine Principals' Association Crabtree Point Standings for Eastern Class C, Camden Hills (1-6, 66.0857 points) is ninth, while Winslow (7-0, 142.8571 points) is first in the 10-team region. The top eight teams qualify for the playoffs.
Camden Hills and Nokomis of Newport, which petitioned down to Eastern Class C this season, are ineligible for postseason play.
