Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine — a national nonprofit organization that promotes preventive medicine, particularly good nutrition — is offering a cooking demonstration with a three-course lunch featuring the locally grown food from Hatchet Cove Farm to introduce residents to methods for weight loss and improved health through proper diet and nutrition.

Lunch & Learn will be offered Monday, July 9 at 11 a.m. at Spectrum Generations, 61 Park St. in Rockland. There is an $8 donation for the program. To register, contact Spectrum Generations at 596-0339 or knox@spectrumgenerations.org.
