Bobby Silcott from The Maine POM Project (l) and Heidi Neal, co-owner of Loyal Biscuit Co.

For the month of May, Loyal Biscuit Co. asked their customers if they would like to “Round Up” their purchase to benefit The Maine POM Project. The May LBC Round Up figures have been tallied and we are pleased to announce $680.12 was raised, thanks to many generous Loyal Biscuit Customers.

Loyal Biscuit Co. donated the difference to make an even $750, which equals ten pet oxygen masks.

The mission of The Maine POM Project is to outfit every fire and rescue organization in the state with pet oxygen masks. These masks are used to save the lives of pets that need CPR or oxygen after being trapped in a fire. Previous masks donated by the LBC have been used to save pets' lives.

Loyal Biscuit Co. will be running the Round Up promotion again in the near future.

The Loyal Biscuit Co. is an award-winning pet supply store with locations at 442 Main St., Rockland; Reny's Plaza, 1 Belmont Ave, Belfast; 39 Mechanic St., Knox Mill, Camden, and coming soon to 99 Main S., Waterville. You can find the LBC online at loyalbiscuit.com or fb.com/loyalbiscuit.
