Louisiana roots in Midcoast Maine
Rockland — The weekly blues series continues with the Peter Novelli Band Monday, June 30, at 7 p.m., in the upstairs music room of Time Out Pub, 275 Main St. Tickets will be $10 at the door.
The Peter Novelli Band from New Orleans dishes up an original blend of swampy, funky roots and blues-rock with a twist of zydeco and Cajun. The guitarist has shared stages and/or studios with some of the who’s who of blues, rock, R&B and roots music including Dr. John and Sammy Kershaw; and has collaborated and co-written songs with several Grammy-winning artists and songwriters.
