Local church delegates attend Orono convocation
Viola Richardson and Mary “Mickey” McKeever, delegates for the First Congregational Church/UCC in Camden, attended three workshops to Understand How to Define Worship through Music, Finding Pastoral Leadership from the Congregation and Finding the Fire; the faithful, visionaries, ready to affirm the spark of Christ.
The faithful Lay Person who volunteers to be a part of the Christian Leadership of the church is essential to the running of any church and without these faithful visionaries, with dedication to God and to all the church endeavors, a church would not function for it is the unity of all Christians with the fire of Christ within, that sparks others and the work of God gets done.
Delegates attended the Orono Convocation at The Church of Universal Fellowship. Delegates came from all over the State of Maine and one from New Hampshire. All total, 150 Faithful Delegates shared and learned new ideas to further the growth of their churches.
