Portland — Jay Sawyer, owner of Stemwinder Sculpture Works & Gardens in Warren, will be featured in a segment of the WCSH program “207” Monday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.

Sawyer appeared on the station’s nightly news program in a short clip a couple of months ago with Midcoast reporter Don Carrigan. For the “207” segment, he was visited by Dennis Doyle, who grew up in Waldoboro and was the youngest brother of one of Sawyer’s classmates.

“I remember him as Denny. I have been following his work on ‘207’ and Bill Green, and I think he does a fine job. He has his work cut out for him when editing this,” said Sawyer in a newsletter.

Sawyer’s outdoor sculpture garden is closed for the winter but he will have work on view outdoors, at Augusta’s Vile Arboretum. For more information about the artist and his work, visit his Facebook page.
