Local art in ‘We are Coyote’

Damariscotta — The Rising Tide Community Market features work by seven Maine artists in an exhibition that honors the Maine coyote through May 3. Included are Kathleen Fox of St. George, Judith Mitchell of Waldoboro and Gwen Sylvester of Rockland; as well as Donna Asmussen of Lewiston/Auburn, Michael Boardman of North Yarmouth; Linda Murray of Bath and Leslie Moore of Brooksville. There will be an artists’ reception and wine tasting Friday, April 4, from 4 to 6 p.m.

The show was organized by Geri Vistein, a conservation biologist who lives and works in Maine and whose work focuses on carnivores and our relationship with them.
