Linda Gero: Gold Medalist with a Heart of Gold
Bridges Home Care’s Personal Support Specialist (PSS) and Navy Veteran, Linda Gero recently participated in the National Veterans Golden Age Games in St. Louis, Missouri. Linda competed in and won two gold medals in the javelin and bowling events, and also won two silver medals in the shot put and discus events.
Linda is a member of the Togus Maine-iacs Veterans group that annually travels to different cities representing Maine. In 2011, Linda won four gold medals when she competed in the Hawaii Games. When not competing, Linda dedicates her time and talents to providing personal and home care services to her many clients through Bridges Home Care, a division of Spectrum Generations. Linda states, “Although I look forward to competing in the games, I am always happy to get back to my clients.”
