LePage to discuss administrative goals at chamber breakfast
Rockport — Gov. Paul LePage and Commissioner of Economic and Community Development George Gervais will speak at the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce’s Business Breakfast on Tuesday, Dec. 4.
Breakfast will be served at 7:45 a.m. at the Samoset Resort. Both chamber members and the general public are invited to attend.
With elections finished and a new legislative session about to begin, the governor will discuss his administration’s goals for the coming year. Commissioner Gervais will address the importance of involvement from the business community during the legislative process.
“We’re thrilled that the governor and the commissioner will be visiting the Midcoast again. It’s always a positive opportunity when we are able to showcase the diversity of our business community while providing a chance for our members to connect more directly with the folks in Augusta,” said Staci Coomer, executive director of the chamber, in a news release.
Chamber Business Breakfasts are sponsored by Allen Insurance and Financial and Dream Local Digital. Advance registration is requested by contacting Robin McIntosh at firstname.lastname@example.org. Cost of the breakfasts are $18.00 for members and $25.00 for nonmembers.
