Learn about New Hope for Women volunteer opportunities
Camden — On May 8, New Hope for Women will present an informational session on volunteer opportunities. The session will be held from 11 a.m. to noon at the Teen Center on Knowlton Street in Camden.
The New Hope for Women Services Director and Community Education Director will be available to discuss upcoming training sessions for volunteers on the NHFW 24-hour crisis hotline, and for those who wish to learn more about becoming safe-home providers.
Additional volunteer opportunities that do not require training will also be reviewed. These include speaking on NHFW’s behalf at town meetings as a town ambassador, assisting with fundraisers, or helping to stock NHFW resource materials within your town or surrounding communities.
Please call New Hope for Women at 594-2128 for further information, or to sign up to attend. Pre-registration is encouraged, however, walk-ins are welcome that morning.
