Last days for ‘Summer Lights’
Thomaston — The sun is setting earlier, the nights are a touch colder and summer is quickly giving way to fall. “Summer Lights,” an exhibit by contemporary American realist Peter Poskas, also is preparing for departure.
The show of Poskas’ luminous landscapes at Haynes Galleries, 91 Main St., will close Saturday, Sept. 29. For the final week, the gallery will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In September, the light in Maine is at its most beautiful — rich and warm, bathing an already majestic landscape in a golden glow. There is no better time to enjoy Poskas’ luminous paintings.
