Knox Reading Circle meets
Thomaston — The Henry Knox Reading Circle will meet Monday, March 11, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the American History Center next to the Montpelier Mansion, Route 131/St. George Road.
The group will be discussing the book "American Nations" by Colin Woodard, a history of the 11 rival regional cultures of North America. The next book to be discussed will be "Team of Rivals" by Doris Kearns Goodwin. This brilliant multiple biography is centered on Abraham Lincoln's mastery of men and how it shaped the most significant presidency in the nation's history.
