Rockland — The following cases were closed in Knox County Superior Court, Rockland, between June 4 and 8:
David G. Byrd, 58, of Union was found guilty of operating a motor vehicle without a license and sentenced to seven days in Knox County Jail; failing to stop and provide information, seven days in jail; under the influence of intoxicants with no test and two priors, fined $1,100 and sentenced to three years in Knox County Jail, with all but 45 days suspended, two years of probation and six-year suspension of license.
Richard J. Dumas II, 31, of Augusta was found guilty of assaulting an officer and given 18 months in prison; reckless conduct, 18 months in prison.
Maxwell MacCoole, 27, of Rockport was found guilty of OUI with two priors, fined $1,100, given two years in Knox County Jail with all but 40 days suspended, probation for two years, and license suspension for six years; one count of operating while license suspended or revoked, OUI, fined $600, seven days in Knox County Jail, and license suspended one year.
Jessica K. McRea, 34, of Rockland, guilty of unlawful possession of Hydrocodone, fined $400 and given 30 days in Knox County Jail; two counts of endangering the welfare of a child, 30 days in jail each; OUI, $500 fine and 30 days in Knox County Jail, license suspended for 90 days; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine, two years in jail with all but 90 days suspended, probation for two years, and $150 restitution.
Nicholas Sparrow, 22, Warren, trafficking in prison contraband, six months in prison; unlawful possession of scheduled drug, $400 fine and two months in prison.
Blake Trenholm, 24, Holden, criminal threatening, 364 days in Knox County Jail, all suspended, one year probation.
