The Knox County Sheriff's Office responded to 234 incidents Nov. 24-30:

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Nov. 24

Sgt. John Palmer responded to a report of trespassing in Warren. The female suspect was located and issued a warning.

Deputy Matt Elwell responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident in St. George involving a single vehicle. Reportable damage sustained.

Deputy Paul Pinkham arrested Randy Wall, 51, of South Thomaston on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Pinkham and Elwell responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Washington involving a single vehicle. The driver was transported to Maine General via Union Ambulance for serious injuries. Reportable damage sustained.

Deputy Lance Mitchell conducted a radar detail in Appleton. Four warnings for speed were issued.

Palmer arrested Nikki Gray, 21, of Cushing on four outstanding arrest warrants. Subject was escorted to the Knox County Jail without incident.

Mitchell began an investigation of theft in Warren. This is still an active investigation with one suspect named.

Deputy Arthur Smith arrested Tyler Adkins, 21, of Warren on two outstanding arrest warrants.

Nov. 25

Deputy Jeremy Joslyn conducted a radar detail on North Haven. No violations were noted.

Deputy Robert Potter conducted a radar detail on Vinalhaven. No violations were noted.

Nov. 26

Smith conducted a radar detail in Owls Head. No violations were noted.

Elwell responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Warren involving a single vehicle. Reportable damage sustained.

Sprague responded to a motor vehicle crash in St. George involving a single vehicle. Minor injuries and reportable damage sustained.

Elwell responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Hope involving a single vehicle. Reportable damage sustained.

Potter responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Vinalhaven involving two vehicles. Non-reportable damage sustained.

Deputies Paul Spear, Tammi Morrison and Lt. Kirk Guerrette responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Washington involving a single vehicle. This was a fatal crash.

Deputy Michael Sprague arrested Amos Robbins, 33, of Frankfurt on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Spear arrested Merrill Chapman, 25, on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Deputy John Hansen responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in St. George involving a single vehicle striking a deer.

Hansen, Spear and Sgt. James Moore responded to a report of a domestic in Union. This was deemed a verbal argument only and the parties were separated for the evening.

Smith arrested Benjamin Benner, 38, of Warren on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Nov. 27

Hansen responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Warren involving a single vehicle. Both occupants were transported to Pen Bay Medical center for non-life threatening injuries. The vehicle was destroyed.

Spear responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Warren involving a single vehicle. Reportable damage sustained.

Spear, Morrison and Palmer responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Hope involving a single vehicle. Both occupants were transported to Pen Bay Medical Center for injuries sustained. This was a fatal crash.

Hansen responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Hope involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Non-reportable damage sustained.

Nov. 28

Following a traffic stop in Thomaston, Hansen issued a summons for speed.

Spear began an investigation of harassment in Owls Head. All parties involved were issued trespass and harassment warnings.

Hansen arrested Betsey Libby, 46, of Rockland on two outstanding arrest warrants.

Nov. 29

Pinkham conducted a radar detail in Union. No violations were noted.

Mitchell conducted a radar detail in Tenants Harbor. No violations were noted.

Pinkham responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Appleton involving a single vehicle. Reportable damage sustained.

Following a traffic stop in Washington, Deputy Hansen arrested Adrianna Benito, 25, of Pittsfield on a charge of operating after suspension.

Hansen, Spear and Palmer responded to a report of a male subject making threats to harm himself in St. George. The male was located and transported to Pen Bay Medical Center for an evaluation.

Nov. 30

Hansen responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Washington involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Non-reportable damage sustained.

Mitchell conducted a radar detail in Owls Head. No violations were noted.

Following a traffic stop in Washington, Pinkham issued a summons for an inspection violation.

Joslyn conducted a radar detail on North Haven. No violations were noted.

Following a traffic stop in Rockport, Smith issued a summons for operating without a license.

Spear arrested Eric Rathbun, 31, of Union on three outstanding arrest warrants.
