Rockland — The Knox County Sheriff's Office responded to 260 calls for service Oct. 13-19:

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Oct. 13

Deputies Paul Simonetti and Arthur Smith responded to an altercation between two males. Following this response, Isaiah Stamper, 21, of Virginia was arrested on a charge of refusing to submit to arrest.

Deputy Paul Pinkham responded to a report of threatening in Cushing. All parties involved were issued warnings.

Deputies Tammi Morrison and Matt Elwell responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Warren involving two vehicles, one of which backed into the other. Minor damage sustained.

Morrison and Elwell responded to a report of an ATV crash in Warren. This incident was turned over to the Warden Service.

Oct. 14

Deputy Robert Potter began an investigation of threatening on Vinalhaven. After speaking to all parties involved, this complaint was unfounded.

Smith arrested Noah Mank, 26, of Thomaston on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Smith arrested Heather Mansfield, 28, of Camden on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Smith arrested Walter Brochu, 33, of Rockland on four outstanding arrest warrants.

Oct. 15

Morrison and Elwell conducted a radar detail in Warren. No violations were noted.

Detective Dwight Burtis began an investigation of harassment in Union. The female suspect was issued a harassment notice.

Morrison and Elwell began an investigation of harassment in Union. All parties involved were issued a warning for same.

Elwell and Morrison began an investigation of a vehicle theft in Warren. The vehicle was located and returned. No charges were sought.

Burtis began an investigation of harassment in Union. The female suspect was issued a written notice for same.

Following a traffic stop in Warren, Deputy Paul Spear issued summonses for displaying fictitious inspection sticker and failure to yield right of way.

Deputy Jeremy Joslyn conducted a radar detail on North Haven. No violations were noted.

Spear arrested Heather Dakin, 32, of Warren on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Smith arrested Andres Lascoutx, 67, of Washington on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Oct. 16

Sgt. John Palmer conducted a radar detail in Union. No violations were noted.

Spear responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Hope involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Reportable damage sustained.

Oct. 17

Pinkham, Spear and Simonetti responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Cushing involving a single vehicle. The operator was transported to Pen Bay Medical Center for injuries sustained. Reportable damage. Following this response, Patrice Massicotte, 43, of Cushing was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence of drugs.

Deputy John Hansen began an investigation of threatening in St. George. The male suspect was contacted and issued warnings on threatening and trespass.

Palmer conducted a radar detail in Union. No violations were noted.

Oct. 18

Deputy Lance Mitchell conducted a radar detail in St. George. Three warnings for speed were issued.

Spear responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in St. George involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Reportable damage sustained.

Oct. 19

Pinkham responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Hope involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Non-reportable damage sustained.

Pinkham responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Hope involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Non-reportable damage sustained.

Mitchell responded to assist Thomaston police at the scene of a motor vehicle crash involving a single motorcycle. The operator was life flighted for injuries sustained.

Potter and Pinkham responded to North Haven to investigate a possible bail violation. Following this response, Ryan Lantagne, 27, of North Haven was arrested on charges of violating a condition of release and sexual assault of a minor.

Palmer conducted a radar detail in Warren. No violations were noted.

Palmer responded to a report of an erratic vehicle in Warren. The vehicle and operator were located and no impairment was noted.
