The Knox County Sheriff's Office responded to 248 calls Oct. 6-12:

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Oct. 6

Deputy Paul Pinkham responded to assist Thomaston police at the scene of a domestic. This is a Thomaston case.

Pinkham began an investigation of harassment in Warren. The two male suspects were located in Rockland and issued a warning for same.

Pinkham responded to assist Rockport police in locating a suspect in a burglary. The suspect was located in Hope. This is a Rockport case.

Pinkham responded to a request for a well-being check in Appleton. The female in question was located and transported to Pen Bay Medical Center for an evaluation.

Deputy Lance Mitchell responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in St. George involving a single vehicle. There was no damage to the vehicle and the operator was transported to Pen Bay Medical Center for injuries sustained. Following this response, the operator, Brandi Howland, 25, of Union was issued a summons for operating under the influence.

Oct. 7

Deputy Michael Sprague responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Warren involving a vehicle striking a deer. Reportable damage sustained.

Deputy Tammi Morrison arrested Amy Willett, 34, of Cushing on an outstanding arrest warrant and violating a condition of release.

Mitchell conducted a radar detail in South Thomaston. No violations were noted.

Deputy Arthur Smith conducted a radar detail in Appleton. One warning issued for inadequate plate light.

Oct. 8

Smith responded to assist Waldo County Sheriff's Office at the scene of a disorderly female in Lincolnville. This is a Waldo case.

Sprague began an investigation of fraud in Union. Following this investigation, Jeffrey Pease, 41, of Union was arrested on charges of two counts of acquiring drugs by deception and violating conditions of release.

Deputies John Hansen, Spear and Sgt. James Moore responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Owls Head involving two vehicles. Reportable damage sustained.

Following a traffic stop in Friendship, Spear arrested Kurt Hilt, 23, of Friendship on charges of criminal speed, driving to endanger and attempting to elude an officer.

Oct.9

Smith conducted a radar detail in Hope. Three vehicles were stopped for speed.

Deputy Robert Potter responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Vinalhaven involving two vehicles. Reportable damage sustained.

Palmer conducted a radar detail in Union. Two warnings for speed were issued.

Hansen began an investigation of harassment in St. George. The female suspect was located and issued a warning for same.

Hansen responded to a report of an explosion in Tenants Harbor. Following this response, Zachary Thorbjornson, 26, of Warren was issued a summons for violating a condition of release.

Spear and Moore responded to a report of a male who had attempted to harm himself in Washington. The male was located and transported to Pen Bay Medical Center for treatment.

Spear arrested Jason Delano, 33, of Waldoboro on an outstanding arrest warrant.

Hansen began an investigation of burglary in South Thomaston. This is still an active investigation.

Oct. 10

Hansen, Spear and Palmer responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Owls Head involving a single vehicle. The operator was transported to Pen Bay Medical Center for injuries sustained. Following this response, Todd Curtis, 29, of South Thomaston was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence.

Spear began a fraudulent documents investigation in Warren. This is still an active investigation with one suspect named.

Oct. 11

Potter responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Vinalhaven involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Reportable damage sustained.

Following a traffic stop in St. George, Pinkham issued summonses for no inspection and no insurance.

Pinkham, Chief Tim Carroll and Lt. Det. Reginald Walker responded to a report of a domestic in Cushing. This was found to have been a verbal argument only.

Palmer responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Union involving two vehicles. Non-reportable damage sustained.

Spear began an investigation of a missing juvenile in Washington. The juvenile was located a short time later.

Spear conducted a radar detail in Warren. One vehicle was stopped for speed.

Spear and Hansen responded to a report of a disorderly male in Washington. The male was located and removed from the residence.

Oct. 12

Mitchell began an investigation of theft in Warren. Two suspects were located and issued summonses for same.

Potter responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Vinalhaven. Non-reportable damage sustained.

Deputy Jeremy Joslyn conducted a radar detail on North Haven. No violations were noted.

Pinkham responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in South Thomaston involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Reportable damage sustained.

Potter began an investigation of trespassing on Vinalhaven. This is still an active investigation with two suspects named.

Spear responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Warren involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Non-reportable damage sustained

Palmer conducted a radar detail in Union. No violations were noted.

Spear conducted a radar detail in Warren. One summons for speed was issued.

Deputy Paul Simonetti arrested Kevin Johnson, 34, of St. George on a charge of violating condition of release.
