The Knox County Sheriff's Office responded to 310 incidents Jan. 19-25.

An arrest or summons does not constitute a finding of guilt. An individual charged with a crime is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty at criminal proceedings.

Jan. 19

Deputy Matt Elwell responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Warren involving a single vehicle. Reportable damage sustained.

Deputy Paul Pinkham responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Cushing involving a single vehicle. Non-reportable damage sustained.

Pinkham responded to a domestic in South Thomaston. This was deemed a verbal argument only and the parties separated.

Elwell responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Warren involving a single vehicle. Reportable damage sustained.

Deputy Paul Spear responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Warren involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Reportable damage sustained.

Jan. 20

Elwell responded to assist Maine State Police units at the scene of a motor vehicle crash in Union.

Deputy Arthur Smith conducted a bail check on an adult male in Washington. The male was issued a summons for violating his bail.

Deputies Smith and Lance Mitchell responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in  Union involving a single vehicle rollover. The vehicle was a total loss.

Smith began an investigation of harassment in Owls Head. All parties involved were either issued a written notice or verbal warning for same.

Mitchell and Sgt. James Moore responded to a request for a well-being check on a male in Union. The male was located and transported to Pen Bay Medical Center via Union Ambulance for an evaluation.

Jan. 21

Deputies Elwell, Spear, Chief Deputy Tim Carroll and Detective Justin Twitchell responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Union involving a single vehicle. This was a fatal crash.

Smith conducted a bail check on an adult male in Friendship. The male was issued a summons for violating his bail.

Moore arrested Santa Havener, 27, of Augusta on an outstanding arrest warrant. Subject was escorted to the Knox County Jail without incident.

Jan. 22

Deputy Jeremy Joslyn conducted a radar detail on North Haven. No violations were noted.

Spear responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in South Thomaston involving two vehicles. Reportable damage sustained.

Spear responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in South Thomaston involving a single vehicle striking a deer. No damage sustained.

Deputies Spear, Nathaniel Jack and Lt. Kirk Guerrette responded to a report of a domestic in St. George. Upon arrival and after speaking to the subjects involved, this was deemed a verbal argument only and the parties separated for the night.

Deputies John Hansen, Spear and Sgt. Moore responded to a report of a domestic in  Warren. Following this response, Michelle MacDonald, 24, of Warren was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault. She was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

Jack responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Appleton involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Reportable damage sustained.

Following a traffic stop in Warren, Hansen issued a summons for attaching false plates.

Jan. 23

Pinkham and Guerrette responded to a report of a subject threatening to harm them self in Hope. The subject was transported to PBMC for an evaluation.

Potter responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on Vinalhaven involving a single vehicle. The operator was later located and issued summonses for failure to report accident and leaving the scene of an accident. Reportable damage sustained.

Sprague responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Union involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Reportable damage sustained.

Twitchell responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Hope involving two vehicles. Reportable damage sustained.

Pinkham arrested Shawn Brewer, 31, of Waldoboro on an outstanding arrest warrant. Subject was currently incarcerated at the Knox County Jail on unrelated charges.

Sprague began an investigation of trespassing in Warren. The male suspect was located and issued a warning for same.

Joslyn conducted a radar detail on North Haven. No violations were noted.

Jack arrested Christy Nason, 37, of Warren on charges of violating condition of release and possession of drugs. Subject was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

Jack arrested Wyatt Weaver, 28, of Thomaston on a charge of violating condition of release. Subject was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

Spear arrested Sydni Barham, 26, of Belmont on an outstanding arrest warrant. Subject was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

Palmer arrested Zachary Genthner, 22, of Waldoboro on an outstanding arrest warrant. Subject was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

Jan. 24

Following a traffic stop in Warren, Palmer arrested Christopher Hooper, 35, of Warren on charges of violating condition of release and operating after suspension. Subject was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

Following a traffic stop in Warren, Spear issued a summons for operating unregistered motor vehicle.

Hansen arrested Jamie Luce, 30, of Waldoboro on an outstanding arrest warrant. Subject was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

Hansen responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Warren involving a single vehicle striking a deer. Reportable damage sustained.

Jan. 25

Pinkham responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Union involving a single vehicle. Reportable damage sustained.

Mitchell began an investigation of burglary in St. George. This is still an active investigation with no suspects or leads at this time.

Deputy Mitchell responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Cushing involving a single vehicle. Reportable damage sustained.

Pinkham responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash in Owls Head involving a single vehicle. Reportable damage sustained.
