Kent A. Roberts
PORTLAND — Kent A. Roberts, 52, died of natural causes on July 10, 2012, at his home on Casco Street in Portland. He was born on April 20, 1960, in Norwalk, Conn., the son of Richard J. Roberts of Stamford, Conn., and Ann C. Pinkney of Waldoboro, both deceased.
Kent’s siblings are Jeff Roberts of North Andover, Mass., Alison Andrade of Washington, Keenan Jones of Waldoboro, Jay Jones of Warren, Jennifer Ruggiero of Denver, Colo., and Katy Bradshaw (deceased) formerly of Denver, Colo. Kent had many nieces and nephews.
Graduating Medomak Valley High School in 1976, Kent attended the Portland School of Art, and lived in Boston and Providence, Mass., Washington, D.C., and San Francisco, Calif. He worked in business administration and social services. Kent’s interests included visual arts, domestic pets and wildlife, horticulture, and natural history. Kent was an intelligent, kind and giving man.
At Kent’s request, there will be no services. He will be buried in the family cemetery in Waldoboro. Memorial donations may be made to Equality Maine, 550 Forest Ave., Suite 201, Portland, ME 04101.
