Kenneth J. Mullen
Kenneth J. Mullen of Madison, Conn., entered into rest on July 10, 2012.
Mr. Mullen was born on Oct. 12, 1920, in Newport, the son of the late Byron and Anne Munson Mullen. He was a graduate of Newport High School and Massachusetts College of Pharmacy. He served for four years during World War II in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a sergeant. Upon discharge from the Army, he worked as a pharmacology sales representative for E. L. Patch, which merged and became Smith Miller Patch, during which time he was a regional district manager. He retired in 1976 as vice president of marketing for CooperVision. Kenneth also had commercial real estate holdings in Camden.
Kenneth was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary, and his brother, Harvard. He is survived by his children, Patricia (Matt) Peterson, Mary (Jim) Gribbell, Suzanne (David) Collins and Robert (Karyn) Mullen. He also leaves six grandchildren.
