Kanzler makes dean's list at Unity College

Alicen Kanzler of Hope was named to the dean's list at Unity College. She is the daughter of Eric and Janice Campbell of Hope.

A third-year student, Kanzler is a conservation law enforcement major with aspirations of becoming a Maine Game Warden upon graduation next year.

This year she completed the Seasonal Law Enforcement Program as part of her curriculum and was one of only two women in the program.

Kanzler also received her certification in Wilderness Rescue.

She is an avid equestrian, loves hunting and fishing and has been interviewed by North Woods Law for an episode where she was “shadowing” wardens at a Rangeley tagging station during last year’s moose hunt.

Kanzler is a 2010 graduate of Camden Hills Regional High School.
