Jobs in this Tough Economic Time.

By Catherine Cooper | Aug 05, 2012

What does someone do in this tough economic time if they are having a difficult time finding a good job? We have heard from people that have lots of experience in fields that paid really well in the 1990's until recently that can't find work in any given profession now and part of the reason may surprise you.

You would assume that a criminal record would be the only reason besides lies on a resume that an employer would deny you employment. Even without any real criminal record a person can be denied employment. The most common reason for denying someone a job is bad credit. This is disturbing to many as jobs have dwindled and part of why someones credit rating goes down is a layoff or having to take a lower paying job and can make it hard to keep up on payments therefore affecting whether an employer finds you to be a viable candidate.

An interview can go swimmingly. You may have made a great impression on the person interviewing but when the credit report is run and if your score comes in on the low side, your chances are slim in securing the position.

I am one of those in that position. I have had great jobs. I have had lots of real estate positions, call center and customer service jobs but now I am struggling like lots of others.

If you are an employer that is hiring full time and want a dependable worker with lots of experience, I am available. I am also looking to help a few other readers who have contacted us with the same problem.

There are good workers out here who through divorce, a death in the family, or layoff have suffered with credit issues and because of that, are out of work.

Please contact me if interested in giving me or someone else a chance.
