On September 15 and 16, 2012 approximately 2000 Jehovah's Witnesses from central Maine will gather for their annual two day assembly.
This two-day meeting will be held at the Civic Center, 76 Community Drive, Augusta. The scriptural theme of this gathering will be: “Safeguard Your Mind" Based on the Bible verse found at Matthew Chapter 22 verse 37. The program is designed to help each of us analyze our own thoughts with a view to making them more pleasing to Jehovah God.
The sessions featuring both talks and interviews will start at 9:50 A.M. each day and will conclude at 3:55 PM on Saturday and 3:30 P.M. on Sunday.
On Saturday afternoon the talk “Meditation That Safeguards the Mind” will be delivered by Todd Donna of Augusta who serves as a Traveling Representative for central Maine. Sunday morning’s program will feature the symposium “Reflect the Mind of Christ in Your Family” which will feature fine encouragement to help us with the challenges of family life today.
A talk especially designed for the public is at 1:40 PM on Sunday and is entitled: "Keep Close in Mind Jehovah’s Day!” Brown Payne, District Supervisor for New England, will present this information.
The public is cordially invited to all sessions. Admission is free and no collections will be taken.
