Warren — Jane Helen Gilbert Grierson, 57, a loving, vibrant spirit unexpectedly left our world in peace, Oct. 11, 2012.

Jane grew up with her three brothers and a sister on the family farm, Gilbert Dairy. In 1972 she graduated from Rockland High School. Her free spirit led her across the country, allowing her to later say "I’ve seen it all, done it all."

Jane started her family of three in 1977, followed by her only grandson, Kergan Michael who will miss his "Nani Beads." She was so proud of her family and their accomplishments in life. For all of her life, Jane’s family was extended by her dear friends and pets. You would often find Jane with her "therapy dog," Smeegle at her side.

She had a strong love of nature, gardening, bird watching, crocheting and beach day adventures. Jane was very proud of becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. All the people who knew Jane had many stories of her giving heart, crazy calamity Jane ways, and of course, her beautiful feet.

Jane is predeceased by her father Homer Gilbert, mother Olive Holt, and brother John Gilbert.

She is survived by her three children, Alicia Costa and her husband Terry, Kyle Grierson, Vanessa Jane Thomann and her husband Kergan. Jane is also survived by her sister, Jo Ann Weatherbee and her husband Jeff, and her two brothers, Bud Gilbert and his wife Sally, and Brian "Buck" Gilbert. Jane has too many beloved nieces and nephews, extended family, ‘crazy cousins’ and dear friends to list.
