Italian for travelers at Penobscot School
Rockland — Italian for Travelers with native Eleonora Mella is back at Penobscot School in Rockland Saturday, Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Perfect for those interested in Italian language and culture and for those intending to travel, participants will learn travel vocabulary, practice speaking, prepare and eat an authentic Italian meal, and leave with a practice booklet to use both at home and abroad. The splendor of Italy including landscapes, villages and architecture will come to life during a slideshow to be presented.
Students describe Ms. Mella as intelligent, effective and engaging. She holds a masters in Foreign Languages from the university in Padova and has lived and worked in Nurnburg, Oslo, Dublin, and her hometown of Padova. Along with her native tongue, Ms. Mella speaks German, English and some Norwegian.
