Interest expressed for Camden Select Board openings

CAMDEN — Robert A. Falciani and Alison McKellar have returned nomination papers for the two open seats on the Select Board.

The three-year seats on the Select Board are currently held by Don White and James Heard.

White and Christian Wincklhofer have taken out nomination papers for the three-year terms, but not yet returned papers by April 11.

Stephen Beveridge and Jenna Lookner have taken out nomination papers for the one-year term that was held by Leonard Lookner, who died in February.

Two three-years terms are open on the SAD 28/Five Town CSD Boards for Camden residents. The seats are currently held by Matthew Dailey, who has taken out nomination papers, and Kristin Collins.

No one has yet taken out nomination papers for a three-year term on the Personnel Committee, currently held by Dave Miramant.

Nomination papers are due back to the Town Office by Friday, April 28, prior to 3:30 p.m. At least 25 signatures, but no more than 100 signatures, are required.

The election is set for Tuesday, June 13 with the annual town meeting on June 14.
