Indoor fireworks at Washington science show

Washington — Magic ice and indoor fireworks will boom and bang when the Mad Science Extravaganza comes to Gibbs Library. The show will be offered at on Saturday, Dec. 8 at 11 a.m.

The program, geared toward children and families, is high energy and interactive. Children will be selected from the audience to assist the mad scientist in creating spectacular experiments that will amaze as well as teach.

"The show will be quite exciting," said Paulette Oboyski, Gibbs Library president, in a news release.

Mad Science is a Maine-based organization that skillfully combines education and entertainment to spark interest in science. The organization offers school programs and community events.
