Ice Cream Social to Celebrate History of Owl's Head Schools
The Mussel Ridge Historical Society will hold an Ice Cream Social to celebrate the history of all Owl’s Head School 2 – 4 pm, Sunday, May 18th at the Owl’s Head Central School, 54 Ash Point Drive.
If you or your family members attended any schools in Owl’s Head, we hope you will bring stories, pictures and/or memorabilia to share with others. We will have a scanner so pictures can be preserved for future generations. We hope to have a retired teacher in attendance to share their experience.
Anyone interested in these schools, the students who attended them, their teachers and/or others who worked in them are also invited to this fun time with neighbors and friends. There will be pictures and memorabilia to view.
The MRHS will provide ice cream and toppings. This event is free although donations will be accepted.
If you would like further information, please call Kay Dodge at 596-6879. If you have stories or pictures to share but are not able to attend, you may email them to firstname.lastname@example.org.
