Hutchinson Center to host Women Veterans Conference on September 16th -all welcome
Belfast, Maine — Women veterans from across the state are invited to attend the Maine Women Veterans Luncheon and Conference on Sept. 24, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., at the University of Maine Hutchinson Center, sponsored by the Maine American Legion Women Veteran’s Advisory Committee.
Keynote speaker will be Adria O. Horn, director of the Maine Bureau of Veterans' Services. Other speakers will address the Women in Military Service for America Memorial, and outline educational opportunities through the University of Maine veterans program.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided. There will be door prizes, and free massages and salon services following the presentations.
Morning registration and coffee starts at 9 a.m. All women veterans are encouraged to attend.
