Humane Society of Knox County sponsors rabies clinic

Nov 06, 2012

Thomaston — The Humane Society of Knox County is sponsoring a rabies clinic on Saturday, Nov. 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Warren Fire Department on Western Road in Warren. Dr. Craig Underhill from Warren Animal Hospital will be in attendance.

The cost is $10, cash only. There have been incidents of rabies in the Midcoast area so now is a great time to be proactive. Even though a pet may be indoors, a rabies vaccination is still a good idea. Protect those companions animals with a vaccination.

Please bring cats in a proper pet carrier and dogs on a leash and last record of rabies shot, if applicable. Kittens must be at least 3 months old and puppies must be at least 4 months old.

For more information about the clinic or the organization call 594-2200 or visit hskcME.org.
