Hope Community Birthday Calendar
The community calendar is a wonderful fundraiser for Hope Elementary School and Hope Library. Volunteers are contacting households now, and the deadline is May 2. If you haven’t been contacted yet or you are new to the area, please call Judith Jones, 763-3576, to sign up. Calendars are $9, and checks to Hope Library may be left at Hope Town Office, or mailed to the library at 443 Camden Road, Hope, ME 04847. Thanks to everyone for your support!
We extend our sympathies to the family of Ruth Payson who passed away April 8 at her home in Hope. Ruth had many family members living in Hope including her daughter and son and several grandchildren.
The club had their April meeting. There will not be a Mystery Ride in May. A "Surprise" meeting will be on May 13 (instead of the Mystery Ride) at Hope Fire Station at 10:30 a.m.; please bring your sandwich - beverages and dessert will be provided.
Eighth Grade “Starry Night” Auction Update
A huge thank you to our eighth-grade students, families, teachers, friends and community members for your amazing support. The auction raised more than $10,000 for the eighth-grade class! The students look forward to heading to Quebec in June for their class trip. We do have one item still available for bid to anyone that may be interested. Camden Whole Health donated two children’s physicals for camp, sports or general health maintenance. Feel free to let the office know if you would like to make an offer. Thank you!
Kindergarten Registration is May 2
Kindergarten registration will take place Friday, May 2, at Hope Elementary School. Please call the office at 785-4081 to schedule an appointment for your child.
