Kinetic Energy Alive Power Performance
Kinetic Energy Alive is coming to Strom Auditorium in Camden April 4 and 5. Starting with fun videos about old school hip-hop and great dances by kids, moving into gritty dances by adults addressing real life issues like our economy and making a living for our families, the first act is a ton of fun and definitely opens your mind. Several Hope students in the show! Tickets are available in the school office for $15.
February 28 Winter Buddy Activity
Time to shake off the cabin fever! We'll be having a winter fun buddy activity Feb. 28, after lunch. Depending on the weather, the activity will take place from 12:45 to 2:15 p.m. starting in the gym, then outside. We will have different activities and our main feature will be a dog sledding presentation with Ben and Aimee Hoops, from Lincolnville. *NOTE, Ben will not be doing demonstrations due to time and lack of space, but students will be able to see the (very friendly!!) dogs if they wish. He also has a PowerPoint presentation, so we will start with this in the gym. It will be great to get everyone outside for this activity, so please remember to bring warm clothing! We are also asking for anyone (kids/adults) with snowshoes to bring them in to use and to share. Parents with comments/concerns are encouraged to contact Ms. Gertner at school or via email at firstname.lastname@example.org. Anyone is welcome to join in the fun and help supervise.
