Class of 1958

The class had their luncheon last Thursday with nine people in attendance. The next luncheon will be Feb. 11 at noon at The Waterfront.

Dog Licenses

If you have not licensed your dog please do so by contacting Hope Town Office. Dogs are to be licensed each year; for more information please call the Town Office at 763-4199.

Activity Night: Friday, Jan. 24

The Student Council is sponsoring an Activity Night for Hope Elementary School students in grades 5 though 8 Friday, Jan. 24, from 5 to 8 p.m. Admission is $4. Wii! Jail Ball! Games! Food for sale!

Sweet Tree Arts

Sweet Tree Arts offers after school programming in Martial Arts 7-12s, Film, 7+, Art and Science 5-8s, Community Arts 8+ and a unique Color theory program for middle school students this winter. Sweet Tree Arts also offers preschool and adult programs, Date Night drop offs and Elephant life drawing. Visit sweettreearts.org for a full winter schedule. Five Town Travel Basketball

The travel basketball season is fast approaching. Tryouts and registration are scheduled for Jan. 25 at Lincolnville Central School beginning at 9 a.m., third- through fourth-grades from 9 to 10 a.m., fifth- through seventh-grades from 10 to 11 a.m., seventh- through eighth-grades from 11 a.m. to noon and high school players, noon to 1 p.m. FTBB will be assisting with the forming of the teams. For anyone that wishes to participate in travel basketball, please sign up through the google doc link below.

When all the teams are established after tryouts, each player will need to register on the FTBB website: fivetownhoopdreams.net. FTBB will help with finding tournaments for each team to play in throughout the travel season. If anyone has any questions, feel free to email a board member through the FTBB website or jacolt99@aol.com.
