A craft fair will take place in the Hope school gym Oct. 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Flu shots will not be available this year. The eighth-grade will host a fundraiser lunch at this event. There will be mittens, homemade items, quilted goods, raffle tables, wooden ornaments, handmade textiles and jewelry from Guatemala. Also the Ladies Club will sell chances on their beautiful floral design quilt and the fire department will have a basket of goodies to raffle off. If you wish to rent a table please contact Wendy Eaton at 785-5770.

The class’s next lunch will be Friday, Oct. 11, at The Offshore at noon.
A reminder to everyone who is saving box tops for education or labels for education to send them to the school. I wish to thank whoever sent me the envelope full of labels — I have forwarded them to the school. Please remember this is an ongoing event and you can send your labels in anytime. Hats Off 4 Cancer at HES
Each Friday during the months of October and November wear your favorite hat to school and donate $0.25 to help fight cancer! Please make donations in your classroom when you wear your hat! All donations will be given to the Heavenly Hats Foundation (they provide hats to individuals with cancer).
