Shelves of new books, in all reading levels, are available to check out and there is new library furniture, as well. A website has been created, offering information about hours and procedures, as well as activities at the library.

Hope Library also has been the recipient of a gift of four works of art by Bernard  “Blackie” Langlais through Colby College and the Kohler Foundation. The library will be on the Langlais Art Trail, organized by Colby Museum of Art and starting this summer, that features the artist's works in all the places they are displayed in Maine. The four pieces at the Hope Library will be on view during the open house.

All are invited to come see the art, new books and furniture; enjoy refreshments; and hear about future plans. The library is located in the Hope Town Office; for more information, call 763-3553.
