Hoot Mobile roams Midcoast in advance of festival
The Hoot Mobile is roaming the Midcoast to help Five Town Communities That Care raise awareness about its upcoming Harvest Hoot festival.
If someone sees the Hoot Mobile (with its Harvest Hoot banner displayed) making its rounds of the Five Town community, snap a photo and email it to email@example.com. He or she will be entered in a raffle to win a pair of tickets to the Harvest Hoot event Sept. 8 at the Snow Bowl. The spotter will also be entered into a drawing for a grand prize (to be announced at the event).
To support the Hoot as a business sponsor or individual contributor, contact Alex Owre at 236-9800. The Hoot is a celebration of family, friends and community.
This year's Hoot will feature the music of the Ale House String Band, Three Button Deluxe, Jerks of Grass, the Kelly Parker Band and more. Music runs from noon to 5 p.m. Grammy-nominated children's entertainer Judy Pancoast will kick things off at 11 a.m. Children's activities and entertainment will take place throughout the day, and local vendors will offer food. For more information on the event and sponsor details, visit www.fivetownctc.org/hoot.
