Home Sweet Home for Midcoast Habitat

Rockport — On Thursday, Aug. 14, Midcoast Habitat for Humanity hosts Home Sweet Home, a live auction/fundraising event of home-related materials and services with dinner, cash bar, live music, dancing, and a whole lot of fun.

The event will raise construction funds for the Cushman-Dodd Family’s home, now under way on Pine Street in Rockland, and will be held at the Farmstead in Rockport, from 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.

Tickets are $25 per person and can be purchased by calling 236-6123 or through midcoasthabitat.org. All are invited to attend. Items to be auctioned include luxurious as well as practical items for your home sweet home, such as granite kitchen countertop (with installation) provided by Morningstar Stone & Tile, a day of carpentry services courtesy of Vision Builders, a chair and ottoman from Margo Moore, an Adirondack chair from Fair Cape Woodworks, two cords of firewood, a staging session from Cheryl Oliveri-Daly, furnishings from Frantz Furniture and Prince's, and much more!
