Holland is March Artist

Waldoboro — Waldoboro Public Library’s March Artist-of-the-Month is Brooke Holland, the art educator at the nearby Miller School. Her work will be featured at month at the library, 958 Main St./Route 220.

Holland’s medium is digital photography, influenced by her twin daughters and by her mother’s death from cancer when Holland was 18 years old. She also does freelance photography, wedding, portraits and photojournalism.

Holland has a BS in Art Education with a concentration in Graphic Design from Plymouth State University in New Hampshire; and a MFA from the Art Institute of Boston. Her works have been shown in various venues throughout the Midcoast region.
