Hoffman’s ‘Quartet’ in Friday series
Thomaston — Friends of the Thomaston Public Library presents its Friday Night Film Series with screenings weekly at 6:30 p.m. in the community room of Thomaston Public Library in the Thomaston Academy Building, 60 Main St./Route 1. May movies celebrate Musical Lives.
The May 16 film is 2012’s “Quartet,” rated PG-13 and running 119 minutes. Upcoming in this month’s series are: “The Great Caruso” (1951, USA); and “Theremin: An Electronic Odyssey” (1994, USA/UK).
