Susan Lewis Hodgkins has been promoted to senior vice president of Bangor Savings Bank.

As the senior commercial portfolio and administrative manager, Hodgkins provides oversight of the bank’s commercial portfolio, managing a group of portfolio managers and loan administrators. As regulatory demands on banks have increased, Hodgkins' work includes working closely with the risk management and commercial credit underwriting groups to ensure compliance with policy and regulations as well as administration of the bank’s diverse commercial customer base. With more than 30 years of banking experience, her knowledge of commercial lending, credit, and operations provides a high level of support to the commercial group.

During her tenure with the bank, Hodgkins also served as a commercial relationship manager working with a wide variety of clients throughout the state. Hodgkins lives in Rockport with her husband Peter.
