Historic photo sale at Penobscot Marine

Searsport — Penobscot Marine Museum offers more than 60,000 historic photographs of Maine and New England online, and will give a 20 percent discount on any photograph ordered between now and Dec. 31.

“You can find historic photographs of your house, your town or your grandfather’s ship by searching our online database; these photographs illustrate life in Maine,” said Kevin Johnson, the museum’s photography curator.

Penobscot Marine Museum’s photography collection is one of the largest collections of historic photographs in New England. To look through the museum’s collection online, visit penobscotmarinemuseum.org. Photographs may be ordered online.
