High Falutin blues at Time Out

Rockland — The Monday Night Blues series continues Oct. 22 at 7 p.m. with Gracie Curran & The High Falutin Band at the Time Out Pub, 275 Main St. Admission will be $10.

Gracie Curran & The High Falutin Band have shared the stage with Shemekia Copeland, Sugar Blue, Tom Holland of the James Cotton Blues Band, Lydia Warren, Phil Pemberton and members of Roomful of Blues, Roberto Morbioli, Peter Parcek, Tomo Fujita, Toni Lynn Washington, the Ten Foot Polecats, Monster Mike Welch, Big Jack Ward, Shirley Lewis and Sax Gordon.

The Boston-based band has headlined the legendary Johnny D's, rocked The House of Blues, the Hard Rock Cafe, the Hynes Convention Center; played to a sold-out Bull Run Concert Hall; and regularly brings the house down at venues such as the infamous Smoken' Joe’s in Brighton, Mass.

Next up in the weekly series, Oct. 29, is the annual Halloween party with the Anthony Gomes Band ($15). There also will be a special Sunday night concert by Gomes the night before, Oct. 28 ($15). For more information, visit the Time Out Pub Blues link at northatlanticbluesfestival.com.
