Port Clyde — Herring Gut Learning Center invites the community to a holiday potluck and open house on Wednesday, Dec. 5 from 4 to 7 p.m. on the center’s campus at 59 Factory Road in Port Clyde.

The event is an opportunity for the community to learn about the center’s hands-on education programs, visit the fish hatchery and greenhouse, and share a meal in celebration of another fantastic year. Visitors are invited to drop by anytime between 4 and 7 p.m. and to bring something to share. Herring Gut will provide fresh tilapia and salad, harvested by students in the School of Roots program. The open house is free and open to the public; neighbors, families, and friends are encouraged to attend. All ages are welcome.
