Helping Victims of 'Super Storm Sandy'

Northeast Transport of Waldoboro is transporting 1,000 Thanksgiving meals to NYC for victims of 'Super Storm Sandy'; the effort is organized by Ashley J. Swartz of NYC. For its part in the effort, Northeast will take food generously donated by Fairway Grocery and prepared by Hershey Entertainment (the Hersey Bears Stadium) of Hersey, PA to Brooklyn Fish Transfer in Brooklyn, NY. Ms. Swartz's volunteers will distribute from Brooklyn to victims and first responders in heavily effected areas of NYC.
