Learn how by attending the following Healthy Heart Month - Go Red Workshop Thursday, Feb. 20, at 10:30 a.m. at Knox Community Center, 61 Park St.
Eileen Molloy, registered dietitian and nutritionist at PenBay Healthcare Diabetes and Nutrition Care Center will discuss foods for a strong, healthy heart. Although no one ingredient can prevent heart disease, learn about yummy options that will get you off to a great start. A healthy diet and lifestyle are the best weapons to fight cardiovascular disease.
This informal workshop is designed to educate women and men affected by or at the risk of developing heart disease about food choices for a strong and healthy heart.
