Hearing loss talk July 10
Rockport — Kno-Wal-Lin Home Care & Hospice will present Hearing Loss: It’s a Family Affair Thursday, July 10, from noon to 1 p.m. at Pen Bay Healthcare’s Picker Family Resource Center.
Hearing loss can affect the whole family and Pen Bay Speech & Hearing audiologist Gary Friedman has information that can help. Learn how to identify hearing loss in yourself or someone you love, the possible causes and options for treatment or rehabilitation. Avoid frustrating, ineffective interactions with family members with hearing loss and discover easy, improved communication strategies that work.
This free event is part of Health Matters with Kno-Wal-Lin, community talks that explore the ways in which home health and community services can promote one's best health and well-being at home.
Talks take place the second Thursday of every month, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Picker Family Resource Center, 3 Glen Cove Drive, Suite 2, located on the Pen Bay Medical Center campus. Programs are free and are open to all ages, but space is limited. Please call 596-8950 to register. Attendees are invited to bring their lunch. Beverages and dessert will be provided.
