Don't ignore that email or snailmail from HealthCare.gov: As many as 2 million Americans are receiving a communication, via mail or email, asking for additional information to verify data supplied when they applied for subsidized health insurance at health insurance Marketplace website.

Consumers can log into their HealthCare.gov account and click on "Application Details."

According to HealthCare.gov:"If you don’t send the needed documents, you risk losing your Marketplace coverage or help you may be receiving to pay for such coverage."
