Harold N. Wells
Camden — Harold “Nick” Nicholas Wells, 51, of Camden, died Thursday, May 22, 2014, at his home in Camden.
Born in Bangor Oct. 31, 1962, he was the son of Richard B. and Elsie (Ames) Wells and grew up in Pittsfield. He was a graduate of Thornton Academy in Saco and had lived in Monroe before moving to Camden 12 years ago. He was a member of Harmony Bible Church in South Thomaston.
Nick enjoyed being a volunteer at the Camden-Rockport Animal Rescue League (now P.A.W.S.). He will be remembered by his family and friends as a generous, unselfish, and loving person who personified quiet humility.
Surviving are his parents, Richard B. Wells Sr.; Elsie Kaler and her husband, Sidney; a brother, Richard B. Wells Jr. and his wife, Veronica Juarez; and a nephew, Richard B. Wells III.
A memorial service was held Sunday, May 25, at Harmony Bible Church in South Thomaston. Burial will be held in the Pilgrim’s Home Cemetery in Monroe. If desired memorial gifts may be made in his memory to P.A.W.S., P.O. Box 707, Rockport, ME 04856.
